The “Content Pillar” Prompt You Can Use Every Month

Ever feel like you’re posting random topics with no plan?
Or worse - you post about your offer once, then don’t mention it again for weeks?

That’s why I teach clients to use content pillars - 3–5 themes you talk about consistently, over and over, in different ways.

But even with pillars, it can be hard to come up with fresh ideas every month.

Here’s how I use a single AI prompt to brainstorm a month’s worth of posts for each content pillar - so you can stay consistent, on-brand, and relevant.

✅ What Are Content Pillars?

Your content pillars are the big topics you want to be known for.
For example, mine include:
✔️ Social media strategy
✔️ Content creation tips
✔️ Offers & services
✔️ Client wins

For you, they might be:

Parenting tips
Healthy recipes
Financial planning
Mindset for entrepreneurs

The point? Every post should support one of these pillars.

✅ The AI Prompt That Fills Your Calendar

💬 Monthly Pillar Prompt:

“I’m a [your role] helping [your audience]. One of my content pillars is [insert pillar, e.g. ‘content creation tips for coaches’].
Suggest 10 post ideas on this topic, with a mix of educational, storytelling, engagement, and promotional angles.
Include suggested formats like carousel, Reel, caption, or Story. Keep the tone [insert tone].”

Content pillar: Social proof for service providers

AI could return ideas like:

Carousel of before/after client results
Reel sharing a quick client testimonial
Story poll about what transformation your audience wants
Caption sharing a recent client win with a CTA
Myth-busting post about what success really looks like

At the start of each month, run this prompt for each of your 3–5 pillars.
Plug the ideas into your calendar.
Adjust formats for each platform (e.g., turn a carousel idea into a LinkedIn doc post).
