✅ 1. It’s Too Broad
“Free Social Media Checklist” sounds helpful… but it’s vague.
Who is it for? What will it actually do?
Try:

🎯 Niche it down. Make it clear. Show the result.
✅ 2. It Solves a Problem People Aren’t Thinking About Yet
If your freebie fixes a later-stage problem, people won’t grab it - because they don’t realise they need it yet.
For example:
→ A guide to optimising your analytics might sound smart…
But if your audience is still trying to figure out what to post, you’ve missed the mark.
You want to meet people at the pain point they’re actively feeling.
✅ 3. You’re Not Selling the Freebie Enough
If you only mention your freebie once or keep it buried in your bio, people won’t know it exists.
Try this:

Walk through the freebie in a Story

Share a DM you got from someone who used it

Post a “before and after” result from applying it

Include it in your welcome sequence and email signature
The freebie only works if people actually see it.
✅ 4. It’s Not Leading to the Next Step
A freebie should be the start of the conversation - not a dead end.
Ask yourself:

Does it naturally lead to my offer or service?

Is there a clear CTA to work with me?

Am I checking in with subscribers or just letting them sit cold on the list?
If it’s not warming people up to buy from you, you’re giving away value with no return.
