Best Social Tools I Actually Use

Published on 26 June 2025 at 08:00

You don’t need a hundred apps, four calendars, and six cups of coffee to stay consistent on social.

You need tools that are easy to use, reliable, and actually help you create, post, and grow.

These are the five tools I actually use - for myself and for my clients - to keep content flowing without the burnout.

No hype. Just tools that work.

πŸ› οΈ 1. Adobe Express

This is my go-to for creating clean, on-brand graphics quickly - especially for carousels, story slides, and Reels covers.

βœ… Why I love it:

  • Auto-resize feature for all platforms

  • Brand kits to keep your fonts, colours, and logos in one place

  • Easy animation options to give posts more scroll-stopping power

If you’re looking for Canva-level ease but want something that integrates with the full Adobe suite - this is it.

πŸ› οΈ 2. SocialPilot

I use SocialPilot to schedule across all platforms - Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, even TikTok (yes, really).

βœ… Why I love it:

  • Plan and preview your posts across multiple accounts

  • Bulk scheduling saves hours

  • It’s client-friendly if you’re managing accounts for others

And it’s way more affordable than some of the bigger-name schedulers.

πŸ› οΈ 3. Google Docs

This is where every caption, email, and blog post starts.

βœ… Why I love it:

  • Simple, shareable, and cloud-based

  • Easy to duplicate monthly content calendars

  • Keeps everything in one place, distraction-free

It’s not fancy, but it works - and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

πŸ› οΈ 4. CapCut

For video content - especially Reels, TikToks, and Stories - I always come back to CapCut.

βœ… Why I love it:

  • Auto-captions with smart timing

  • Trendy text effects and transitions

  • Mobile editing that’s actually fast and fun

If you feel stuck editing inside Instagram or TikTok - this will change your workflow.

πŸ› οΈ 5. Later

I use Later for specific clients when I want to visually plan a feed, especially for brand-heavy clients or campaigns that need to look a certain way.

βœ… Why I love it:

  • Drag-and-drop visual planner

  • Built-in hashtag suggestions and best time to post

  • It supports multiple platforms - and the Pinterest integration is solid

Perfect if you’re a visual thinker and like to batch ahead.
